Buchela loves to cook.

Sometimes, he and I pretend cook together. Other times, he play cooks while I make real meals.

I actually let him help toss salads and make dressing.

To encourage his little hobby, first I bought him his own pot and a pot stand he can pretend is a stove.

I also bought him toy fruits and vegetables he can stir to his heart's content.

He also has a pretend knife.
Buchela has babies.

Just like his mama.

I made a little sling for him and he has since began carrying around his babies when the fancy strikes him.

He has three.

Here he has his lion baby in his sling.

 Buchela is a compulsive cleaner.

I just know this is not going to last into the teen years.

So, I am enjoying it while I can.

Here, he gives his car a good scrub.

The idea of putting a toddler and paint together at home is a scary scary thought.

But I went ahead and tried it.

Mind you, my home isn't really fancy. I don't have expensive stuff. I had the landlord cover the couch with a stain resistant fabric that can be washed easily.

Best of all, our dinning table is well treated with some sort of varnish that makes it easy to clean.

BUT still, I was scared to unleash Buchela's inner artist!

Buchela is very interested in cooking.

Nowadays, he makes working in the kitchen close to impossible unless I ensure his time is occupied with something similar to what I am doing.

 Buchela loves washing his bibs.

I love that he loves washing his bibs.

It means no pent up toddler energy, ready to explode into a tantrum, during cold winter days when playing outside is out of the question.

It means an occupied Buchela when Mama needs time for herself.

It means a tired little guy at the end of the day.

It means a good night sleep for everybody.

Situate yourself comfortably on your potty.

Make sure you have a reading material.

Do not take your pants or diaper off.

He was standing around staring at his stroller trying to think of something new to do with the old toy.

All of a sudden his idea bulb lit up: "wouldn't it be cool if I take it up with me and then drive it around on the couch instead of the floor?"
