The Blessings of Permanent Friends

I know I have talked about my mahiber (group of girls I have known since highs school) before. But I can never really say enough about them to express my gratitude towards their counsel and friendship for all these years.

When I lived in Ethiopia, I saw our monthly get togethers as an opportunity to laugh, to share stories, to listen, to talk, and to seek and give support. My husband used to always comment about how, when I was in a bad mood and went to my mahiber meeting, I came home completely refreshed and uplifted....

Here is my mahiber celebrating Buchela's birthday ...once again, showing their love and support to me and my family all the way from Addis Ababa....

Hey girls, thank you.

I hope I have been a worthy friend to all of you as you have been to me.

Cheers!
