A 2 Year Old in the House!



To Whom It May Concern:

I have turned 2.

I don't know what my mother's excuse is for not throwing me a giant party like last year.

Maybe it is the jet-lag?

Anyway, she promises one when we get back home in September.

Until then, I'd just have to continue blowing up my own balloons.

Easter 2010 in Dalian, China

Not only did American Easter sneak up on us this year but I had no idea the Ethiopian one was on the same day!

Apparently, once every five years, the dates for the two Easters falls on the same day.

Silly me, I was still counting on the Ethiopian one to being next weekend.

Ah well. I will still make doro wot :)

Outside of this one surprise, the holiday weekend was great.

This year we did our Easter egg hunt in a beautiful little private park.





The kids listened to clues and ran to find the candy stashes.
