For as long as I remember, books have been an integral part of my life.
I am not a cookie baking kinda of mama.
Baking is just not my thing.
The only thing I make out of flour with any regularity is injera. And this is because I know my survival depends on it --- I really CAN NOT live without Ethiopian food.
The other day, a good friend of mine came over to our home and organized a cookie making session.
My kiddos loved it.
My kids love Super Why (the PBS kids Show).
Buchela asked for a Super Why outfit a while back so we decided to have it made for them for Christmas.
The costumes are made from a silky fabric so they can double as pajamas once the weather warms up.
As you can see, they have been getting a good mileage out of them!
We have finally gotten in the holiday groove around here!
I love it when my children's friends come over and do a project together.
It doesn't happen often enough but when it does, it is great for everyone.
This playground - made of recycled tyres - is in walking distance from our apartment.
Hubby set the kids up for pumpkin carving fun.
