The No Swimming Day in Ubud

We woke up this morning, put on our swimsuits and headed out to the nearby pool.

But on the way there, we changed our minds.

It was too cool to go swimming.

We decided the pool can wait until for one of those sweltering days.

So, off we went in our bathing suits to the center of the city!



Where we enjoyed ice cream in a picturesque little corner.



Walked around in random gardens.

in one of the many galleries in Ubud.



Some of us enjoyed being wooed by pretty women in uniform.



Liked walking around in alleys minus scary dogs.



Hang out watching the action in the street.



Just when aunt E couldn't take the heat anymore ...



We chanced on a fountain.



Ahhhh!

What little relief it offered.



So stingy - with the random water drops on our backs.



We headed to our now favorite lunch dive.



Where the kids promptly stripped their clothes off.







And ran amok.




Played with bugs.



Discussed serious issues.



Until lunch was served.
