Comfortable in Ubud

This year's travel takes us to Bali, Indonesia.

We have rented a house on one of the quieter streets of Ubud.



The house comes with a fish pond.

The kids love watching the fish.

Dinbit really enjoys getting me going by dipping her fingers in the water and then quickly putting it back in her mouth.

Yuck!



They also love the outdoor bathtub.

Why not! They are allowed to make all the splashes they want.



I decided I wanted to spend February in Bali because I wanted to get away from Dalian's freezing winter.

Boy - have my dreams come true.

Indeed, some days I think I am going to die from a mid-day heat stroke.

We have learned to work around the weather.

We spend mornings out.

Take a shower at mid-day.

Nap in the afternoon.

Get out again at 4 pm.

It is perfect.
