Ethiopian Airlines Crash

I was making injera in the kitchen when my cell phone rang.

My husband said - in a very low somber voice - "There was an Ethiopian Airlines crash..."

I stopped listening immediately and started to panic. The room started to spin. I found myself struggling to breath.

I thought - for a brief second - my sister [who works for the airline] was on that plane. He had to yell assurances that she was fine several times for me to actually hear him.

My heart hurts for all the families who lost someone in the Ethiopian Airlines crash.

I am heartbroken for them.

That pain I felt searing through my whole being for the few panicked seconds - it is permanent for them.

I can't imagine.

Buddha-Phaoahe's Gravatar Yes, we have to appreciate our social circle while they and we are still here. Death teaches us to appreciate life and our loved ones "now". Im glad shes ok and I hope you called her to tell her how much you loved her. By the way, Are ethiopians the most hysterical when it comes to death because my family is still crying after the death of my granddad 25 years ago. anyways, thanx for sharing you lovely kids with us.
