One of the wonderful things about being a child is the ability to totally fall in love with some random aspect of life.

As the dandelions disappear, Buchela has found himself totally mesmerized by ants.

"Mama! Look!"

"Where is the ant going Mama?"

"Does it have eyes?"

"What does he eat?"

"Can I put it in my pocket?"

"Can he go to my house?"

"But I love it!"

Aye!

You can see why we MUST build an ant farm.

Hey! Buchela and Lucía would make great friends. My daughter is also crazy about ants lately. Poor little creatures in our garden... they are all pretty stressed out!!! And, wait till Buchela discovers silk worms... Lucía just loves them!

Lorena, I have to constantly tell mine that it is not OK to kill or hurt them but he so badly wants to touch them and take them with. It is so sweet. That is why I think building an ant farm will be a good idea. I will post about how that goes.
