Our Fasika (Ethiopian Easter) in Dalian

Our Fasika celebration was pretty simple.

We had some of the Ethiopian students over for a meal.

Dinbit even warmed up to one of the guys pretty well.

When he was not playing with his new train set...

Buchela kept on randomly ordering everyone to quiet down.

Dinbit and Buchela hung out together.

Mostly getting along.

Occasionally clashing.

But always being cute.

Come visit at myamericanmeltingpot.com and you'll see how this Black American girl and her Spanish husband raise their little brown babies in two languages with lots of love.
