Playing School - E is for Elephant

Once a week - every Thursday - Buchela and his friends get together at a friend's home and I try to help them learn a thing or two.

We try to do a letter a week. I include thematic books, coloring, and crafting activities.

The idea is to help them develop their listening and fine motor skills.

I tell/read stories.

We sing songs.

We try to make something.

I have them follow instructions while I demonstrate the craft project.

And they seem to enjoy all of it.

Most especially the socializing bit afterwards.
