Dinbit at One Month: Vaccinations and Funny Scales
You know those cute baby scales back in the US or Ethiopia for that matter?
China doesn't use them.
Instead, they always rig something up on an adult scale to weigh children.
The first time I saw one was when I took Buchela in for a check up.
Then, I had the pleasure of having Dinbit weighed on one when we went for a vaccination on Friday.
This one was even more interesting.
It looked like a regular small chair attached to a scale until the nurse adjusted the sides to become flat so that I could lay my newborn on it.
We found out Dinbit is growing fine gaining weight at the expected pace.
Then a very bad lady nurse with a giant needle made her cry.
And Mamma let her!
We were asked to stay for 15 minutes to insure our baby didn't react badly to the vaccination.
When we went home she slept most of the day.
And stayed up most of the night to punish us for causing her pain.

I don't know how you do it, but I like the way you take things in stride.
so cute.
Munit, the idea of making more babies ayyyy... not ready to even think about it!
OH, thanks:) My stomach is crazy looking though!
