Out and About, Off Bed Rest

I am no longer stuck in the house although I am supposed to take it easy.

I saw my doctor on Friday and she seems to think things are progressing well.

About a week ago, I also spoke to a midwife in the US who reassured me that going out of the house is okay just nothing too strenuous.

It is nice to get out although at this point I am not much use.

The baby has engaged and I feel the head pressing on my pelvis. This makes walking rather uncomfortable and sometimes pretty painful.

My little one moves constantly. In fact, as I write this, I can feel her hiccup.

Yes, it is almost surely a girl... although no 100% confirmation. During my last ultrasound, when I asked the tech dude if it was a girl, he smiled slyly and said "May be".

Apparently, in China, that is a yes.

Since openly telling the sex of the baby is illegal, they can't really answer directly.
