Laundry Blues

We have been getting dirtier by the day.

We pretty much have been forced to wash our clothing in the sink of our hotel room since most of what we brought has been rendered useless.

Buchela's shorts are no use since the days have been on the cooler side. He has to wear his long sleeves. My shorts and flowy skirts are out of the question. Hubby's shorts will pretty much have to stay in the suit case.

So since the weather has been overcast, what we have washed still hasn't dried.

Our solution: wash only problem parts. I have basically been washing Buchela's long sleeve shirts only around the neck and the front where food, snot, juice, jelly, peanut butter, pasta sauce is likely to drip.

Hubby's and my t-shirts, I just wash under the arms where they get funky. Our pants and fleece will just have to get dirty. We need them every day so they won't be seeing water until we get home. Good thing we brought plenty of underwear!

When all is said and done, we are very happy to be out of the cold winter in Dalian! We have been enjoying walking around the little town here in our neck of Vietnam and visiting various parts.

While it has turned out to be a different type of trip than we imagined, it still has been great and continues to surprise us in many wonderfully unexpected ways.

Yemi's Gravatar This is the coldest winter they have had in like 10 years.

While I can buy t-shirts in Hoi An, finding good long sleeve stuff has been hard.
No malls here by the way just little stalls at the big market. The town we are in is quiet small.
