Winged Wonder
Buchela communicates well.
He mostly uses Amharic and English but he also throws some Chinese in for good measure.
He gestures wildly.
Recently, he adopted a new communication approach. Strategy, if you will.
He now uses animal noises.
He meows like a cat.
He woofs like a dog.
He mooos like a cow.
He baaas like a sheep.
And he quacks like a duck.
Interestingly, he goes into one of his animal identities when I tell him something he doesn't want to hear.
"Buchela, don't pull the blinds down!" I would say.
"Moo. Moooooo. Moooooooo," he responds, looking at me. And then he mutters "Buchela cow!"
AND he continues pulling the blinds down!
