have no words for all the free tours you take us back to Ethiopia.Love those Pics. Please do keep on posting some more from Home.My deepest love for Buchella (Have one little Buchella my self).I used to call her Buchella too until you patented the name to your Buchella :)
distributing company in the US which was established in 1994.
http://www.kaldiscoffee.com/
So the Kaldi's owners took the name from that company and the style from Starbucks. Copy right infringement at it's best :)
You walk into coffee shops anywhere in the US now (commercial, chain coffee shops) and they all have that look... you know what I mean? If I go blind folded into Caribou coffee, for example, and wasn't told where I was, I would be stumped to tell the difference between its shops and star bucks.
About the name... Kaldi and the story of the goats ... that is ours and if some western company takes it and trade marks before we do, that is just too bad. They can't just trade mark our History and our stories and expect us not to use it. And until we make a good trademarking system, we are going to have problems of our names, our history, our knowlege being taken and trademarked as someone else's.
Ok lemme stop:)
would love to read articles about society that u would write...maybe something to think about
trademark and not copyright infringment. Second for a
company like Starbucks who successfully lobbied the
united states patent and trademark office not to have
ethiopia trademark it's Sidamo and Yirgachaffee coffee,
you should not in the least bit show any concern on behalf
of these companies about their right being infringed upon.
http://www.kaldiscoffee.com is not a website for Kaldis' coffee in Ethiopia. It is a different company
When I was there (7 months ago), Kalid's coffee told me they are going to have a free Wi-Fi soon. Do they have a Wi-Fi yet?
Thanks for all the pictures Yemi.
