There is something immensely Ethiopian about this picture.
Maybe it is the way the young man has the elbow of the old man...
Maybe it is the way the younger one seems to be deeply engaged in conversation with the older one...
Maybe it is just the way the old man looks, the gabi, the shema headdress, the long trenchcoat, the cane....
I look at this picture and I think, there ... it is Ethiopia.
