By God, Let the Games Begin!

1. I am a mom now. Yaaaaaay for all those mothers whose sons are going to surely die. And die they will in thousands. There will be sooo many new heroes! Such a lucky nation Ethiopia is, blessed with so many chances to make new heroes.

2. The little bit of "economic growth" Ethiopia seems to have accidentally achieved will now be stripped bare. We have to spend millions to get Ethiopian mothers' sons ammunition to create heroes for Somali mothers. They are going to be so happy happy!

3. From the way the Somali Islamist talk, we are already on the suicide bombers' maps. With the war beginning, we will for sure be one of the top five destinations. Exactly the type of tourists we were hoping to attract! They will spend money purchasing transportation, food, bombs, wires and things. They will be good for the economy.

4. If we are lucky enough to fight a two front war, one with each of our favorite neighbors Eritrea and Somalia, we may just run out of soldiers, in which case, conscription might ensue. What can I say, this will be a great opportunity for a whole new generation of boys to find out what it feels like to wear a dress, from a fashion point of view AND from the point of view of fooling the authorities that will come knocking in the middle of the night that one is, in fact, a girl.

5. There will be war songs y'all. You remember those? Ohhhh.... the nostalgia! A memory lane trip I was hoping and crossing my fingers to take all these damn peaceful years.
